Leather Art – Warranty & Defect Liability Policy
Defect Liability (Statutory Rights)

Unless otherwise agreed, the statutory liability for defects applies to all Leather Art products.

For used goods:

  • If a defect occurs after one year from the delivery date, defect claims are excluded.

  • Defects occurring within the first year can still be claimed within the statutory limitation period of two years from delivery.

These limitations do NOT apply to claims resulting from damages caused by Leather Art, our legal representatives, or agents in cases of:

  • Injury to life, body, or health

  • Intentional or grossly negligent misconduct

  • Breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations)

  • A guarantee promise, if provided

  • Cases covered under the Product Liability Act

2-Year Warranty – Leather Art

Leather Art bags are designed to be exceptionally durable and long-lasting.2 years quality warranty + life time finishing and repairing.
Because of our strict quality standards, we provide a 2-year quality warranty on material and craftsmanship for all Leather Art bags when properly used.

What the Warranty Covers

If your product has a manufacturing defect, Leather Art will:

✔ Repair the bag
✔ Replace it if necessary
✔ Or refund the purchase price (excluding shipping charges)

Your warranty becomes valid from the day you receive your product.

Under this warranty, we cover all repairs related to manufacturing faults, including:

  • Zippers

  • Seams

  • Fasteners

  • Inner linings

You are only responsible for the shipping cost.

Normal wear and tear, scratches, or cracks are not covered, but we can treat or repair them for a small service fee upon request.


Repair Process

If your Leather Art product has a production defect, our team will handle it promptly.

In certain cases, the item may need to be sent to the Leather Art workshop.
If that happens, our customer service will inform you about the timeline and keep you updated by email or WhatsApp until the repair is completed.
